Christmas shoppers in Birmingham are in for a festive surprise from this year’s Bullring Christmas decorations. This year the centre’s decorations have been created by the local community from images, artwork and photography uploaded to the Bullring Art Project.
Two 2D installations, located on both the West and East Malls, as well as a 3D installation, which hangs in the Upper West Mall atrium, are made up entirely of submissions from the local community.
Photographs expressing Christmas happiness were submitted by shoppers from around Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Worcestershire and Staffordshire are included within the installations, and will remain in the centre throughout the Christmas period.
Throughout the year Bullring has invited the local community to share their feel-good moments and upload their videos, photos, poems, lyrics, and scripts to http://www.lifefeelsbetter.co.uk/. As the centre enters its festive period shoppers are being encouraged to share their Christmas photography with the Bullring Art Project. Plus over the next few weeks residents in the West Midlands will be asked to join Bullring’s SOS campaign to save Christmas spirit. Whether it’s the once-yearly family gathering, the ultimate Christmas party outfit or the contents of your Christmas stocking, Bullring wants the region to share feel-good moments this year at http://www.lifefeelsbetter.co.uk/.
